Get set for the week with the Roundhouse Rundown podcast, the fastest five minutes in collegiate promotions. The Shocker basketball teams celebrate their seniors this week vs. Tulsa at Koch Arena. The WSU women play Tulsa at 6 p.m. Tuesday. On Sunday, the Shocker men play the Hurricane at 1 p.m. WSU baseball is back at Eck Stadium this weekend for a series against Missouri State starting at 6 p.m. Friday. All that, plus promotions, ticket specials, Shocker trivia and Shocker history.

[00:00:14] Hello, welcome to the Roundhouse Rundown, a weekly glance at all things Shocker athletics. Each week we will give you a rapid fire listen on events coming up, promotions, ticket deals, a trivia question and a bit of Shocker history. This week's trivia question who is the last Shocker named most outstanding player in a men's basketball conference tournament? Is it Aubrey Sherrod, B Connor Francamp or C Marcus McDuffie? Stick around to the end and you'll get the answer. Shocker Men's basketball They play their final regular season home games Sunday 1pm versus Tulsa. That's Senior Day. The first 1,000 fans get a rally towel. Shockers also play in North Texas on Monday. That's tonight, March 3rd on ESPN2. They are at Rice on Thursday. The AAC Championship begins March 12th in Fort Worth and we'll know more about seedings as the week unfolds. Shocker women they wrap up their home schedule at 6pm Tuesday. It is their senior Day, also against Tulsa. The women start AAAC tournament play March 8th in Fort Worth. Wichita State Baseball they make a trip to Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas to play Abilene Christian on Wednesday. They're back at X Stadium this weekend for a series against Missouri State. Games are 6pm Friday, 2pm Saturday and 11:30am Sunday. Shocker softball they play at Kansas City on Wednesday before heading to Boca Raton, Florida to start AAC play in what should be one of the better weekend series of the conference schedule. Series with Florida Atlantic begins on Friday. The Owls start the week 19 and 4. They've really played well in non conference and they've been up as high as number 22 in the national polls. Shocker volleyball. You can get a sneak peek at them as they are working their way through spring drills. They Scrimmage Barton County 5pm Wednesday and Emporia State at 6:30 at Koch Arena. WSU women's tennis they meet Memphis 12:30pm Thursday at Wichita Country Club. [00:02:13] Your Trivia Answer B Connor Francamp, who earned MOP honors in the 2017 MVC tournament in St. Louis. He led the Shockers with 19 points in a 71:51 win over Illinois State in the title game. Connor also had 18 points in a semifinal win over Missouri State, all coming from behind the three point line. He made six of 12 threes in that win over the Bears. [00:02:34] This week in shocker history March 4, 2018 Bailey Lang holds Nebraska to two hits in an 80 win in five innings. Asia Webber homers Madison Perrigan drives in three runs with a triple and the Shockers win the series two games to one in Lincoln. Thank you for listening.
