[00:00:16] Speaker A: Hello. Welcome to the Roundhouse Rundown, your weekly. [00:00:18] Speaker B: Glance at all things Shocker Athletics. Each week we give you a rapid. [00:00:22] Speaker A: Fire listen on events, promotions, ticket deals. [00:00:24] Speaker B: Trivia question and we wrap it up with a bit of Shocker history. This week's Trivia question who did Wichita State defeat to win its first NCAA Regional softball game? Was it A Texas A and M. [00:00:36] Speaker A: B Tulsa or C Sam Houston State? Stick around to the end and we. [00:00:40] Speaker B: Will give you the answer. [00:00:42] Speaker A: Shocker Baseball takes a season high five. [00:00:44] Speaker B: Game win streak into the AAC championship in Clearwater, Florida. [00:00:48] Speaker A: Shockers are the seventh seed. [00:00:50] Speaker B: They will play second seed at Charlotte at 3pm Tuesday. The game is on the radio 97.5 FM and 12:40am with Mike Kennedy. Of course, all games in the AAC championship are on ESPN. 49ers are also hot. They've won nine in a row and they took two of three meetings with. [00:01:07] Speaker A: The Shockers this season. The winner of that team gets a day off. They advance to Thursday where they would. [00:01:13] Speaker B: Play around 4pm Thursday afternoon against either ECU or South Florida. The loser has to turn around and play Wednesday also approximately 4pm against the loser of ECU. You USF WSU track and field is off this weekend after competing in the AAC Championship last weekend. Shocker men placed second, the Shocker women placed sixth. [00:01:34] Speaker A: They will send a group of qualifiers. [00:01:36] Speaker B: To the NCAA west preliminaries that starts May 28th. College Station, Texas While we are nearing. [00:01:42] Speaker A: The end of WSU competition for the. [00:01:44] Speaker B: School year, we've got three events this summer on campus. [00:01:47] Speaker A: We will remind you of Athletes Unlimited. [00:01:49] Speaker B: Softball League will play games at Wilkins Stadium between June 7th and June 23rd. The basketball tournament returns to Kocarina July 18th 23rd for the eight team Wichita Regional. [00:02:01] Speaker A: NBC World Series will hold its 91st tournament at X Stadium from July 24th to August 1st. [00:02:09] Speaker B: Baseball round the clock begins on June 26th. That's 11 games in 33 hours for the baseball fanatic. [00:02:16] Speaker A: The NBC championship moves downtown. [00:02:18] Speaker B: It's at Equity bank Ballpark on August 2nd.
