Each week I'm going to give you a rapid fire listen on events coming up, promotions and ticket deals, Trivia question and a bit of Shocker history This week's Trivia question who holds Wichita State's men's basketball record for 30 point games in a season as a freshman? Is it A Maurice Evans, b Antwon Carr or C Cleo Littleton? Stick around to the end and I'll give you the answer. The Chakra men's basketball team is back in Koch arena for two games this week. They play Alcorn State at 6:30pm Wednesday. They play East Tennessee State at 6pm Saturday. On Wednesday, the first 300 students will receive a Body Armor Flash IV to help them energize for finals Saturday. You can bring a stuffed animal for the halftime teddy bear toss. The first 500 students receive a Shocker Santa hat. The Shocker women's basketball team plays at Kansas on Thursday. They are home for a 1pm game against Western Kentucky on Sunday and it will be Ugly Sweater Day at the arena. Free admission is available for all youth, middle school and high school basketball teams that RSVP at the promotions area on goshockers.com youm need to RSVP and submit your rosters by Wednesday. December 4 Wichita State volleyball are back in the NCAA tournament and they play at SMU 7pm Thursday. The winner faces either Missouri or Texas State in Friday's second round match. All those matches are on espn. SMU is seated second in its portion of the regional. Wichita State is making its 12th NCAA appearance after winning the AAC championship. SMU and Wichita State are familiar foes. They were both in the American Athletic Conference up until this season. They split two matches last year. WSU track and field is gearing up for the indoor season. They have the Shocker Multi on Wednesday and Thursday and their annual black and yellow intra squad meet on Friday. All of those are at Heskett Center.
