Each week I'm going to give you a rapid fire listen on events coming up, promotions and ticket deals, trivia question and a bit of Shocker history. Thank you for listening. This week's trivia question who is Wichita State's career leader in kills in NCAA regional volleyball play? Is it A Emily Stockman, b Sarah Lundgren or C Abby Lehman? I'm going to make you stick around a few minutes to the end of the podcast for the answer. The WSU women are in the Emerald coast classic in Destin, Florida. They play Creighton at 7:30pm Monday and either Missouri or Syracuse on Tuesday. Those basketball games are streamed on Flo College Sports. The shocker men they are 50 after Friday's win over St. Louis. They play Minnesota at 11am Thursday in the ESPN Events Invitational in Kissimmee. That game is on ESPN2 and Ken 103.7 FM. On Friday, the Shockers will play either Florida or Wake Forest. A game will be on either ESPN or ESPN 2. Shocker men are back home Dec. 4 to play Alcorn State 6:30pm TIP Shocker women return home on Dec. 2 6pm against Prairie View AM for educator appreciation Night. The NCAA Volleyball selection show is December 1st at 5pm that's when the Shockers will find out their regional destination after they won the AAC Championship and the automatic bid on Sunday. Regional play begins on December 5th. Your trivia question answer is a Emily Stockman Emily was an outstanding left side hitter from 2007 to 2009. She totaled 72 kills in six NCAA matches. She had a career high 16 kills in wins over Western Kentucky in 2007 and St. Louis in 2009. This Week in Shocker History November 25, 2006 Kron Bradley Kran had a knack for making big shots throughout his Shock Shocker career. He certainly did this night. He scored six straight points in the final minute 49 seconds to help number 24 Wichita State defeat number 6 LSU 5753 in Baton Rouge. Bradley's jumper with 149 to play gave the shocker the 5250 lead. He made two free throws with 13.6 seconds remaining for a 5652 lead. Ryan Martin led the Shockers on that day with 12 points. Thank you for listening.
