[00:00:13] Hello, welcome to the Roundhouse Rundown, your weekly glance at Shocker athletics. Each week we give you a rapid fire listen on events, promotions and ticket deals. There's a trivia question and Shocker history.
[00:00:26] This week's trivia question how many Kansans who played their full career for Wichita State basketball have been NBA draft picks? Is it A5, B12 or C7?

[00:00:44] WSU volleyball opens American Conference play this weekend at Koch arena at 6pm Friday, the Shockers play Memphis on Mental Health Awareness Night. If you purchase three tickets, you get one free. On Sunday, WSU faces USF at noon. It's Shields Junior Shocker Club Day.
[00:01:04] WSU plays Tulsa at home on October 2nd. Students in attendance will have the chance to enter a lottery to win one of 200 limited edition shocker snapback hats.
[00:01:19] Shocker Baseball plays Nebraska on Saturday. That's a 1pm scrimmage at X Stadium.
[00:01:26] Next week is a big week around Wichita State University with Shocktoberfest going on all week around the university.
[00:01:33] The athletic department's contribution is Shocker madness. That's at 6:30pm Oct. 3, the traditional kickoff to basketball season. As always, admission is free and the evening features scrimmages by the men's and women's basketball teams, introductions and skills contest. Doors open at 5:30pm Both teams will sign autographs until 6pm Shocker Madness is part of Shocktoberfest that week long celebration on campus.
[00:02:03] Saturday's events before Shocker Madness include a brew market and the shocktoberfest parade.
[00:02:10] On October 7th, Wichita State's men's team plays Murray State at 6:30pm in a charity scrimmage.
[00:02:19] Tickets are $20 for general admission seats. Proceeds will be split between the Wichita children's home and Cheese Johnson's U jump.
[00:02:28] Shocker softball plays its first scrimmage at 1pm that's also on Oct. 3 versus McLennan Community College at Wilkins Stadium.
