The Shocker women face No. 9 Oklahoma on Tuesday at Koch Arena. On Friday, the AAC Volleyball Championship hits Koch Arena. Wichita State opens play against Tulsa at 7:30 p.m. The Shocker men’s basketball team is in Kansas City on Friday night to face Saint Louis. [00:00:15] Hello. Welcome to the Roundhouse Rundown, a weekly glance at all things Shocker athletics. Each week we're going to give you a rapid fire listen on events coming up, promotions, ticket deals, a trivia question and a bit of Shocker history. Thank you for listening this week's trivia question Wichita State faces Tulsa on Friday in the first round of the AAC Volleyball Championship at Cocharena. What is WSU's winning streak against the Hurricane? Is it a seven straight, b12 or c14? I'm going to make you stick around to the end of the podcast for the answer. Wichita State women's basketball team faces number nine Oklahoma at that's Tuesday at Cocoarena. Shockers are 2 and 2, the Sooners are 3 and O. It's free admission for all youth ages 18 and younger. The first 500 fans will receive a rally wig and then it gets even better. The quick change act that performed at Monday's men's game is back for halftime tonight. The Shocker men they are 40 after Monday's win over Monmouth. They're going to be away from Coca arena for a while. They play St. Louis at Kansas City's T Mobile arena on Friday at 9:30pm as part of the hall of Fame Classic. The game is broadcast on the Peacock Network and if you remember getting that app or subscribing or whatever last winter for the Chiefs playoff game against the Miami Dolphins, you need to go back there to get the Shocker game and of course it will be broadcast on Keyn FM 103.7 with Mike Kennedy and Bob Hull. Shockers travel to Florida next week to play Minnesota on November 28th and then they will face either Florida or Wake Forest. Wake Forest, of course, is coached by Steve Forbes, who is a former Shocker assistant. The AAC Volleyball Championship that begins Friday at Cocharena with four matches. You can see all eight teams on that day including the top two seeds, Rice and top seeded USF. Shockers are the number four seed. They play fifth seed at Tulsa at 7:30pm the winner of that match moves to Saturday 2:00pm semifinal where they will face either South Florida or eight seeded UAB. Tickets are available at ghostshockers.com Trivia answer is B. Wichita State has won 12 straight matches over Tulsa, including two this season in Wichita. The streak is 21 straight this week in Shocker history. November 20, 2013 Michelle Price scores 25 points. Alex Hardin adds 15 in Wichita State's 6946 win at Kansas State. Shockers force 18 turnovers leading to 30 points and hold the Wildcats to 34.6% shooting. Thank you for listening.
