Wichita State plays four home games this week with the men meeting Wofford (6:30 p.m., Wednesday) and Eastern Kentucky (4 p.m., Sunday). [00:00:14] Hello. Welcome to the Roundhouse Rundown, your weekly glance at all things Shocker athletics. Each week we give you a quick listen on events, promotions and ticket deals, a trivia question and some Shocker history. This week's trivia question who owns the most 20 rebound games in a season for Shocker men's basketball a Xavier McDaniel, b Terry Benton or C Gabe Blair? Stick around to the end and we will give you the answer. Shocker men's basketball is home twice before Christmas break. The Shockers continue their home stand on Wednesday vs. Wofford, 6:30pm it's full court Fetch Night. Fans can purchase a ticket dog collar package for the game against the Terriers on Sunday. Wichita State plays Eastern Kentucky at 4pm the ticket special is four tickets, four hot dogs and four drinks for $100. It is also Shields Jr. Shocker Club Day. Both games are on ESPN. [00:01:10] WSU women's basketball plays Oral Roberts at 11am Tuesday in the annual School Kids Game. [00:01:16] They're back in Kokarina at 2pm Saturday to play Middle Tennessee State. It's first responders night. [00:01:22] Discounted general admission tickets are available with an ID at the ticket office. Those games are also on ESPN. [00:01:29] Your trivia answer is B Terry Benton. Benton grabbed 20 or more rebounds seven times in 1970-71 on his way to averaging 16.8 rebounds a game that led the Missouri Valley Conference. It only ranked sixth nationally. Jacksonville's artist Gilmore led the nation. [00:01:47] He averaged 23.2 rebounds that season. Benton, from Wichita's east high school, averaged 13.2 points and 12.7 rebounds for his career. He twice earned all MVC honors. His career rebound Average still ranks first in WSU history this week in Shocker history. December 16, 2014 Darius Carter's dunk with 11 seconds to play caps a 131 run give the Shockers a 5352 win over Alabama. The Shockers trailed 5140 with 6:01 to play. Carter leads WSU with 16 points and the Shockers win a school record 23rd straight game at home. [00:02:30] Thank you for listening.
